Sorry Ninja, Even if I conceded, which I won't, I can't see how a word with extra letters is more correct or more proper than an American way that uses fewer letters and thus is more economical. I have never been to England, and if truth be told, ANYTIME I am forced to watch a movie with ENGLISH actors, I can barely understand a word they are saying. I often say I wish they spoke English. I have to add subtitles to these movies just to understand what they are saying.
I don't have this problem with Aussies or Kiwis.
