Question, are you guys using 9 or 10's on the Juniors. Always used 9's on my go to 2014 SGJ & 10's on all my other Gibsons/Epi's.

Never had 9's on a wrap bridge are they wobbly?

I was just listening to some WHO and when this song came on through my headphones, I could not help but want to post about the clarity and sonic lusciousness of Pete's guitar playing.
Funny thing is he is playing his sunburst LP, but I still love him on a Lowly SG Special with P90 ups such as from the Isle Of Wight fesitval. Make sure you check out the 2nd clip too. MAN is this priceless footage.

All this talk of SGs has got me Jonesing for an SG!

Nothing beats researching on the webs & fiinding your own home forum !! Jonesing for a 1 pickup SG after the Epi JJN LP success

I forgot some of you guys were on the SG site !! Cool thing is some of you across the gear sites over the years are very consistent & honest. Helps with gear sometimes when you have heard clips from people you share with

So glad you are back BFT.

In the Poll, I picked Hard to decide,

While I own 3 Specials and one Standard, I would love a Custom too.
My Specials are the lowly Faded, a 3 Knob and the beautiful SG Classic with P90's

I guess I could have also voted for Specials. And HAHA, I know this is all about the SG, but MAN I couldn't help but be mesmorized by Keith Moon as they played what the clip calls Sparks and I know it as Underture.

I was at both of these Capital Center shows in 1982.

This was my first intro into Telecaster guitars. Pete was actually playing Schecter Tele copies.

I've always used .010s on mine. Mainly because when I first started playing, I would always break .009s. So, when I switched to .010s, I stopped breaking strings. Have stayed there ever since because I'm too comfortable to change now.

Then there is one of the most undoubtable All time Spokesman for the SG STD, ANGUS.
My sister was at their show back in the early 80's at Cap Center. I'm thinking I can pick out the guitar model ANGUS is playing, It is a Block Inlay STD of the vintage my Cream color '76 is.

I've had so many, loved them all. The prettiest I ever had was a Standard 61, I bought it used and in pristine condition and sold it because it was too pretty to ding, that would have really hurt me. I tended to like the gloss Specials (with full sized humbuckers) over the years. They played as well as any, and were all SG, and it wouldn't kill me to ding one. Back in the day they were also the best value/money of all of them, they could be found cheap. Probably not anymore.

Ever notice. Roger, Pete and Keith are always very animated on stage. Entwhistle on the other hand never changes expressions. Didn’t move. Looked like he was already planning the pizza run after the show. :pound-hand:

More like tallying up how many hookers and how much blow would be waiting in the hotel room after the show.
