Been looking for a 20" bass drum for a few years pulled the trigger today on this DW Collectors set
I thought the seller would cancel the sale due to free shipping not so and it was only used three times in the studio
Stock photos on listing will post photos when it arrives.

Nice one Adrian. Man and I thought I was the king of Ferengi's for getting a whole F150 Pickup for $1. You got a whole drum kit.

Also, 67, that really is a classy and tight looking DW kit. So, do you just have the Luds until this one arrives, or do you have other kits too?

So, speaking of drums and not to thread jack, I’ll be looking for a used set later this year for the studio. Not for me to play but for jams so the drummer doesn’t have to drag gear over. I don’t want the cheapest thing, or a $3K kit. What brands or features should I be looking for? I can start looking on eBay and CL for local pick ups, as I image shipping is $$$.

Don O. If you want a kit, Local pickup is best, I am unfamiliar with where you moved, so I can't recommend the best places.
I might start looking on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. I have huge success buying, tools, supplies and all manner of stuff off both places.

As for good kits. It will depend on the sound you are after. Now,if looking for a kit just for practicing, I would think just about any of the top brands will suffice. I got my start on Pearl Exports and worked up to Masters Customs 4 ply all maple shells.
I just as well could have gone with DW, Yamaha, Tama, Ludwig, Sonor, Ayotte, Gretsch and as I did do, I got into vintage Rogers drums. Known as the Cadillac of drums back in the day.

HECK YEAH STEVE. Congrats on your new ones, and Kudos on the sweet ones you already have. Is the DW 20 inch kick 16 inches deep do you know? MY Rogers 20's are all 14 inch depths. Pretty sure my Orphan 22 inch Rogers kick is 16 inches but don't quote me on that.

Here is a video of a similar setup to my Blue Glass Glitter Rogers kit.

My Emerald Fade Pearl Masters kit is 8x10, 9x12, 11x14, 12x14, 16x16, 18x22, and 6.5x14 snare
My Blue Glass Rogers Kit is a 8x12, 16x16, 5.5 x 14 snare and 14x20 Kick.

My Rogers Orphans are Blue Onyx 20 inch kick like in the video, but is older as it has B and B lugs instead of the Beavertail
a 20 inch Black Diamond Pearl Kick, and a 22 inch Silver Glass Glitter kick.

edited cuz i almost forgot my Orphan Toms. I have 2 8x12 Rack toms, and a 16x16 that used to be Blue Onyx but I stripped them to bare wood due to the Onyx wraps were badly cracked.

Not to Hijack, 67's thread, just adding pics so DonO can see some pretty good TUBS that are out there for not too hateful prices either.

I also fell for the Blue Glitter type finish with my buddy John Thomakos' 60's Ludwig kit he used to play live so many nights gigging around Baltimore. He had Keith Larson of Baltimore Drum custom make him a Matching 26 inch kick like Bonham had, only he had a 4 inch hole drilled into the side of the kick for his mic. That 26 incher was a beast.
