It must be good, it's Chinese. OMG, it comes with a pick!!!

It looks like an F up'd BC Rich. It's unbranded. You can add your own. I could always add Gibson and sell it to GC (nah, even they are not that stupid).

I think I want one to test my setup skills and my patience.

What do you think? What color should I get? I think blue will sound best.

you cant SHIP a guitar for that-----

I bought a Strat style from China on ebay for 46.00 once -- same deal to SEE HOW BAD IT WAS----it surprisingly DIDNT suck -- played (after a fret dressing and set up) well enough -- on par with other low enders--and was a STUPID cheap mod platform

I mean lets be honest the TAXES on the PARTS and lumber to MAKE the guitar are MORE THAN THEY WANT for the guitar.

ANd look @Hackmaster they all have 3 pups--!!!!!!

here is the strat one

I have also owned the Ibanez style copy--- but its spendy and almost 60.00 but again didnt "suck" for the $

we have a local CL guy that sells these -- "properly set up and tested" for around 45.00 he also sells other low end stuff he gets at yard sales etc. --- does a set up on em sells em for cheap (but w/ a little profit) to beginners and kids

20.00 gets ya a "P" bass...
ever want to TRY BASS but didnt wanna spend the $$$

Nice, then these cats buy em, slap the Glarry name on em, add a $10 amp and sell em for $80.
Looks like the same fine instrument.

But for $17.99 I think I'd take the gamble.

I have one of the Glarry Jazz bass guitars. $73 to my door. I carved up a Musiclily tortoise pickguard, and put a set of flats on it...set it up, and it’s not too bad. Super light weight. Super club like neck. Weird laminate fretboard(it’s like they glued together tiny strips of rosewood).
It seems that the manufacturers have decided to flood the market after the Glarry basses sold through stock regularly.
One thing of note on my Glarry Jazz...when I changed the pickguard, the holes didn’t all line up...so when I went to drill fresh holes, I discovered that the body wood is so soft that I could probably just push the new screws in like thumbtacks....though that would probably be a bad idea.

in for a Coronabass.
For under $20, hey I usually throw my money away on 30 packs of Miller Lite.

Be aware, there is a club for these on the Talkbass forum...a lot of the newer batches of these seem to need a neck pocket shim to get a good setup on the bridge...according to some of the posts over there.
Not too difficult to do though...so I’ve heard. Mine seems fine without...it is from an older batch though.

I, literally, can’t buy one...they won’t take my money...:(

Nope...that seller just ended all their listings....while I was trying to buy...of course.
Looks like they’ve filled the container from China...oh well.

I got a "ready for shipping" update from ebay.
I dont expect much from this but have wanted to take a stab at bass for decades.
If it shows up and is not 100% junk, the neck pocket shim is and easy job, and whatever other tweaking is minor work.

I dont even know how to tune a bass; I will be looking for some good beginner bass advice if this materializes into any kind of playable instrument and I dont die from Corona virus.
I will scope out Talkbass, thanks @Thatbastarddon .

I think I almost died from drinking too many Coronas once but my recall of the incident is spotty.

it also occurs to me I dont know the different types of basses (basssiss, bassi, beese?)
what type would this generally be?

EDIT: earlier post references P bass, yes?
