Is a hotdog technically a sandwich??

I kinda think not.

But then I do....see.....it's still meat between bread...

So then then I gets thinkin'....does a sandwich have to contain meat?? The classic grilled cheese says no, so I move on....

What about a gyro? A pita? A wrap??....well if we're going that far....what about a taco? Or a burrito?

Are tacos and burritos being classified as sandwiches technically wrong?

Just wtf is a sandwich anyway? Is it right? Is it wrong? Intercourse it, I don't actually really care.....I love em, all of them....because I am a believer in equal discrimination...I don't care if your bread, wrap, or tortillas are gluten free or not, GET IN MAH BELLAY!!!

Here you go. Don't smoke it all in one go, you'll want to be coherent enough to ponder on whether or not a hotdog is actually a sandwich or not, and then spend the next 45 minutes second guessing the validity of your opinion.

In the end though, you'll come to realize that there is no sandwich, and you need to get up and get one.

Hotdogs are not a sandwich, obviously...

The Lord of Sandwich is turning in his grave whilst reading this thread.

Hotdogs are very nice, but they are their own food type - a hotdog! (Buns and rolls cannot be used to make a sandwich; a sandwich uses cut bread.)

Now, seems as eESGe has upset my British cultural sensitivities by suggesting that a hotdog is a type of sandwich, I will upset his sensitivities by informing him that Danish hotdogs are much tastier than American hotdogs... :)
