Strato-blaster

I don't know why any of this surprises anyone...as soon as US workers unionized and started demanding safe workplaces and a fair wage the companies started moving
production to places where they could take advantage of the workforce. Nothing new to see here...same $hit different day...or product I guess I should say.

GBall has a point with Gibson and Epiphone, but at the end of the day the result is the same. Lost jobs in the US and "usually" an inferior product...

Globalization is inevitable regardless of how hard we try to stop it. Eventually it will all balance out. Probably be a very long time though.

Man, this American strato-blaster is nice. I apologize to those who don't see, feel, or hear the difference but IMHO this USA strats blows the doors of any non-USA strat I've ever owned or played. I've been thinking of getting a single coil sized humbucker for it, BUT, man, I think I'd rather just get another USA strat that has the HSS set up, than another with an HH set up, than another with the HSH set up... Hmm, maybe all these hearts are just getting to me - lol. But, seriously, I would really LUV to get get a couple more of these with different pickup configurations. This evening anyways, I guess...

Agree completely. The USA Fenders are a clear step above the imports. After owning a couple Custom Shop Strats I honestly think they are a waste of money as they really are no better than the regular MIA stuff.

The neck on this 2019 USA Strat seems like a nice rounded Gibson neck and the 9.5 radius is nice too. 12" radius is about as flat as I like to go myself.

Im gettin to where i like the vintage neck radius of Fenders.

The 7.25" or I think that's what they were? I can't really recall of the top of my head. When I was thinking it'd be nice to get a second MIA strat it got me to wondering about the different Fender neck shapes, etc. I really like this one, but... Anyways, not a biggy really as I won't be getting another anytime soon unless someone wants to trade for my minty 2012 melody maker special with two p90's type thing (or perhaps other stuff I have).

They seem happy until the weed wears off, then reality sets in..

I mean generally. And I am not kidding...the general mood of people, at least in my neighborhood, improved the moment it was legalized. I think just about everyone around my area (South Bay, Los Angeles) is on the ganja.

I don't know, we have weed shops that are like boutiques and everyone seems a lot happier these days.

Well, I don't smoke pot and really have no intentions to even if it gets legalized. But, what I can't understand is why alchohol and tobacco are legal, both being addictive drugs, and pot is illegal. As far as I'm concerned it should be legalized just on that basis alone. But, when you add in all the crime, murder, etc surrounding illegal drugs - which includes pot - well, that's just all the more reason to make it legal if you ask me - to stop a bunch of the crime that takes place around it that is going on now because it's illegal. Don't know - I like 2+2=4, things adding up, etc and pot being illegal with all the other stuff that is legal just doesn't add up to me...

Sorry to hear that, The city in which I live the police says auto accidents have gone up 50% more since legalization. Now we got the potheads who smoke and drink and drive .

I actually think most people are into edibles around here. Now that it's legal and regulated you know exactly what you are getting and can microdose with edibles easily if that's your thing. The stores are like small boutiques and have literally hundreds of week products. You can even get the stuff delivered to you! This is just up the street from me, by LAX airport:

Unfortunately, like anything else, it's still up to adults to act as though they are. I'm a hell of a lot more worried about people taking prescription drugs than I am potheads personally.

pot heads sit on the couch and order pizza---and laugh till they fall off the couch at old Mayberry reruns--- it is the Meth crack and crank head / tweakers that rob/harm/murder for scores -- pot heads dont have the energy lol

Well, there ya go, one more reason to make pot legal. Both tobacco and alcohol mess with people (sorry, but tobacco can make people tweeky). So, what's the big deal if someone get's high rather than drunk or has their nervous system screwed up from tobacco? Might not want people toasted and running machinery - lol - but, I'm sure you know what I mean. Anyways... I voted to make it legal and I don't even use it and have no intention on using it ;)

Actually, I would like to try some of the medical grade oil pain releiver stuff if it ever gets cheap enough for the average poor white boy to afford - lol...
