There's nothing wrong wit a lil foreplay(SS)until it's time to whip it out(TOOBS)...so to speak.
I have a blast with my Katanas both 100 watters. Actually didn't let me down when I turned up!
Use to gig with a Randall RG 100ES then a Peavey XXL 100H. Got compliments on our tones playing Hard rock. Used 412 cabs both were heads.

I also prefer tuubz, but I have found a way to let my SS amps play with me
Right now I am playing with my Dsl40c’s, and loving it at TV volume!!

My college daughter and girl friend are studying(books!)here tonight so I can't play the 100 watt tooberz like I want. Sacrifices. I leave their volumes in one spot. Loud.
Got my Katana's in the LR. They'll do for now.
I am going to do a Sabbath intro and post it ha hah ha, at TV volume
