The Muse I Adorn

I've been playing this one the past couple of days. Tweaking it after putting a new neck and nut on it. I did a fret level and crown on the old neck but there wasn't much left, so off it went. It's a Squier SE body, Dragonfire pickups, Fender big block bridge and Allparts locking tuners. Oh and a nice Chinese neck. It plays and sounds fantastic!

Everybody has something. .....

I’m going over to a friend’s house Friday to drink beer and play music. He just bought a Republic Tri-Cone Resonator guitar. He wants me to bring over my Dobro so we can make some noise. So, I need to reacquaint myself with the Dobro between now and then.

I just noticed how beautiful the fret board is on this guitar. Long, dark streaks over a medium rosewood. Nice!

yes-- in a converation with Hack earlier I realized the MAJORITY ---of my gutiars are ....well BROWN -- even the ones I build (explorer and Rickenbastard ) are .....BROWN---
I surmised its from growing up in the 70s

the guitars I LUSTED for early on ...were.................mostly BROWN or Burst---

soooooooooooo much good noizes!!!
Funny thing I discovered this evening....I had engaged the pad/active input switch on the TC bass head, and forgot about it. I had been playing the TL6, and RB2002...both active preamp basses, and felt that I needed it engaged....not a good setting for passive basses....no matter how much awesome they bring.

edit: there’s an Easter Egg in the photo for @BFT Gibson ....
