I’ve gotta take some fresh pic’s of this....

Gotta say....I am feeling very lucky to have found this V! It completely bridges my adoration of Les Paul, and SG guitars! I love my SGs, but also my Les Paul style axes...the V seems to have the best of both on tap though!

And you made it your own. That bridge has authority! What is that setup?

Pickups are from Mick Manlius...Here
I can’t speak highly enough of his work! He wound the pickups in the V after a few emails back and forth...
He NAILED what I was looking for. It followed that I went back for another set for the similar SG, and then some P90s for the SG in my avatar....
...But the bridge...that’s a Stetsbar...another nice discovery... It may not be pretty to everyone, but it is a slick bit of kit! Mine are set up to drop only...so I can drop tune without a care...amazingly smooth, and easy to work with!

That V looks lovely, kinda like the best SG faded with crescents, but on a super cool looking V. Really really nice that is!
If I recall the story properly, the V's with the moons came out first. Then they were discontinued. Leftover moon inlayed fretboards were used on the SG Faded's for almost 2 years till the supply ran out. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I’m not sure, but it sounds good...thing is, mine are within a couple of months of each other in manufacturing dates. I’ll have to check, after work, to see which is older...but I thought it was my SG, as it has a stock ABR bridge mount VS. the V’s Nashville bridge mounts. But I don’t honestly remember now...

My focus this evening was more AMP muse than gutiar--- and I found a lovely synergy between the LPR and the Lil Sexy run into the hartke bass cab........I mean WOW ...shakes the floor (and gets LIGHT break up-- ) at Volume level 1.5 !!!!

the Panama is long gone -- they are nice but the Sexy --- it slaughtered the little purple people eater ......perhaps tomorrow I shall add a touch of the Holy Grail reverb....

Im not sure what MOJO is in this lil re purposed radio housing --- but me thinks some special SWAMP VOODOO MAJIC does reside ;)

I'm happy to hear that you still like Mick's pickups. I thought he did a stellar job on all of mine, and have no desire to swap them out.

I am also digging the Phaez!

I have a rare gig coming up in April. It’s a small dive, so I can’t bring a Marshall or Hiwatt. So, I need to decide if it will be the DST30 or the Deluxe Reverb. I’ve already made up my mind as far as guitars go, and it does sound good plugged into the DST with no pedals. Sunday should be a good day for me to try and wind things up a bit more, and plug some pedals in.
