Can't say enough about Guitar Madness for the value and service.
Sure I've gotten a couple duds, but I've bought at least 20 different pickups and sets from them.
And the duds still worked, I think they were just mismatched sets.
Most but not all of the offerings from GM are ceramic magnet, not a bad thing, just more of a "modern" tone than the smoothness of alnico 2 or the bright openness of alnico 5. Many are also listed as hot overwound. This may or may not be to one's liking, depending what's expected from the pickup.
I've also used GFS and Dragonfire and honestly I think they're all made by the same factory.
Guitar Madness just undercuts everybody's greed and offers great pricing and fast free shipping. Usually 3 days from Staten Island to Fla.
