Hey, what ever happened to this instrument?

Yes it's Ben Franklin's very own 'Armonica'.

Now there is a beautiful haunting instrument ya don't see much of anymore. Unless you're in a museum.

If you only knew what that white Firebird does to me...

The year Johnny Winter died, I wanted a white Bird. And in a indirect way, I also wanted a white SG. So, I ended up with a Faded Tobacco Burst LP... go figure. The following year I got my white SG. That white Bird is still flying out there, with no room here to land...

So why aint ya got one yet bruddah??

While I enjoy seeing the wood-grain & joints that a natural or Sunburst gives us...

(hey, why hide all that design work & beauty? In the words of Carno, 'It gives me a boinger!!') The White is very sexy indeed.

It's still around but they eliminated all the moving parts.

Gibson RD Custom. I quite like it, even though it looks like Gumby with a guitar neck up his butt!
If the Firebird X had a similar finish, I'd definitely consider it.

Ah but sitting here reminiscing way back to when we used to watch Gumby & Pokey, I can' help but think,.. Wasn't childhood life so much softer & kinder back then for us kids?

Gumby showed us we could all get along & work together to fight the block heads in life.

And Gumby would always take the time to even set them straight, teach 'em an important lesson & make the world just a little better place when he was done.

Heck, Gumby was so cool, he even played guitar!
Pokey was always easy to impress though..

Ok Bud, in the spirit of that super clean claymation TV show from our youth, I've come up with the cleanest Gumby meets Gibson creation yet!
