Bummer...won this for 150. I love these, SG feel with duncan designed pups. Beautiful finish....but not packed right ruined it..will include orig pic. Dumba.. packed it in gig bag with nothing to secure the movement of the guitar. Shame ..its a gorgeous guitar & was filling a missing spot in lineup..guess maybe its time to look again wash damage 1.jpgwash damage 2.jpgwash damage 3.jpgwash damage.jpgwash eba71.jpgwash ebay.jpg in a bigger box

Ahh WTF man!?

Bummer dude, big time.

String that guy up! Throw him up against the wall!
saving that for the guy who hurt my wife & fled the scene...sorta feel like in 2012 when they took my daughter & hid her for 6 months...have to be patient & keep myself occupied. Sorta in a perpetual state of being wound up..can't do anything about anything right now & we might of missed the band thing in life...how do we even fix anything when someone has been hurt ;like this...J was 2 semesters away from her sociology/psychology degree,,already has degree in something else..but went back to school for 4 years..,to go work with Autistic children..she is so natural with them..now she doesn't even know what day it is...and its all out of pocket right now....

have 3 songs ready for vocals..the last neck invasion has her down ..real bad...she loves to sing & can't even stand for too long anymore..declining each year.
We miss our volunteer/non profit work so much. To me that was what life was about..holding original shows & inviting organizations to participate & get people fed & clothes & share some of our testimonies about how we can come back up from being down in life...used to hold 3-4 all original band shows...the shows were great..people had a place to forget about things for awhile & get some genuine care & help...have worked with, domestic violence, Children missing groups, many recovery based programs..sorta became this central hub to tie it all together through some music & fund raising

My first B Hinds V showed up with hairline fractures in the finish all around the neck joint area. Dunno what the hell happened, maybe the UPS guy just tossed in on the front step or something, but I sent that thing back as fast as I could. Got it from AMS (not the scientist, the warehouse lol) they were good about it. Replaced it immediately upon seeing all the detailed pictures I took.

Hopefully you can get this one sorted. I know it was only 150 and the pups are what you were really after, but it's a damn shame one way or the other that you didn't even get what you paid for. You paid for the whole guitar, right? Not just the pups, the rest of the guitar too...as per the deal, I imagine?

Which reminds me.....when I go and order a cheeseburger from McDonald's and tell them NO PICKLES, why am I still paying the same price as a cheeseburger WITH pickles? Shouldn't they deduct the price of those two scrawny and nasty pickle slices from my sandwich?! I mean, what is this world coming to??:run:

They do deduct the price but...: 2 cents off for no pickles, but 2 cents added for making the burger taste better! Just my 2 cents... :sneaky:

we have determined that Wendy's use the pickles we like.

My apologies a full refund will be issued to you. No need to return the guitar. Again my apologies.

We think that pic of guitar above that was used on Ebay was before this guy got it. Everything is loose on this guitar from pegs to bridge to controls. After Ebay intervened..this was his response above..hence the pic below of guitar now. Have the guitar stripped already. Rebuilding it. Neck doesn't bother me too much( as much as that finish chip) it wasn't whole way thru & was able to get right amount of Titebond in there, was able to get it in both sides & then clamp & clean. Went back nice. Left the glue a lil full on outside..not much..just enough in case some seepage happens. The strings were weird on this from the get go,, but basically just there & B & E where criss crossed in tuning peg. Home experiment gone awry possibly. Think it will be good to go soon. ! wash clamp (2).jpg

What a shame, but by the looks of the response, what a deal..
i know man..left it in the powers that be hands.. thought maybe 50-75 or something off..but there seems to be a pic discrepancy of some sort. I don't think the neck gouge could of happened in the gig bag it came in..the box is not damaged at all, I am wondering if he tried to slap some new strings on and overtigtened,,then snapped neck & dropped guitar all in 1 glorious blunder. The neck gouge is like a perfect gouge not a scrape.

The neck does not come into play. tried it..if you were a thumb over player..no way would this pass...i have to stretch, so most time my thumb is mddle of neck..don't even get close to it..luckily

It really bugs me that people ship equipment improperly packed....then they try to blame the shipping company for the damage.
I have seen that happen sooooooooooo many times.
