DIRTY power?

I seem to have an issue (many) exacerbated by the TUBE amps (not so much the SS amps---not at ALL when using the ROLAND CUBE on battery power----) so I KNOW its the HOMES power
its a crappy old late 80's era double wide --so the wiring is (by todays standards) poop--
here is the "issue" there is a FZZT sound (faint but at low volume clean noodling its there) that occurrs "randomly sometimes 5 seconds apart sopmetimes 3 -- some times 10 but rarely more than 10 seconds apart---
its "annoying" at best--
all amps run into a power strip that then goes into the wall.......

I WOULD ADD -- the GUITAR makes no diff-- though its more NOTICEABLE with hollow bodies and or P90's -- but it doesnt go AWAY with say the SUPER QUIET AND SHILEDED SG from Bobby the guitar Shielder Extraordinaire ---so this is why I "thinking" it might be.....?? powerstrip?

how could I stop this ?
noise gate?
Van Goh my left ear?
ONLY use the Roland w/ batteries and sell the rest?
 
Chas???? -- it happens with every amp-- plugged into a power strip-- OR directly into the wall-- it varies-- but its still there

Sell everything, and keep Roland with battery power. This way you will have more cash available for more ……….:oops2::ROFLMAO:

That's something that's not worth buying cheap. A good quality one will protect against a surge and amongst other issues.

While I can't guarantee this will fix your issue, I will say it isn't worth it to go cheap. Furman is a great name. Furman, Middle Atlantic, and SurgEx all make great power conditioning products. This is one area where going cheap isn't worth it.
