Me too, minus the lessons part.
I find the left thigh very comfortable, even when seated with my double neck...

Special thanks to Ritchie at Catastrophe Lounge for the Neck Dive Leg Harness
Here's the funny part. I have a LOT of very nice guitars (about 28, IIRC). Gibsons, Martin, Eastman, D'Angelico, many Fender Teles, Fender Strats, PRS's, Gretsch, Rainsong, Epiphone. Full hollows, semi-hollows, and solids.
The two Epiphone ES Les Pauls that I bought rank at the top for playing enjoyment, tone, etc. And they are among the least expensive guitars that I have! I guess it's the size, the weight, the tones, the playability, and the looks - all winners with this model. I could not be more enthusiastic about these ES Les Pauls!
Here is my 1 Epi that I have been able to keep. My others were an ES 175 and a an EJ200.

Wow... quite get-up you've got going there, Robert! Almost orthopedic! Glad it helps you out.
Glad you got that squared away.

Woah Robert, That Bridge pup is super high huh? So the bridge and TP needs to be high as well, and I presume, if they weren't the strings would be sitting on the frets. I would like to see a close up of the profile of that guitar from body up thru the head stock.
