Swordfish kabobs sound really yummy. Not a big fan of corn on grill. Prefer boiled. That’s just me though.I had just finished prepping these when Mitch posted that beautiful rib-eye!

Fresh swordfish kebabs, with some local corn. Just put the kebabs on, gave the corn a head start.![]()
Been there done that. Or in NE Illinois when you’re stubborn enough to grill all year regardless the season...... snow. Or my favorite which happened to me this morning. The LP tank goes dry. Fortunately, I had just exchanged my spare a few days ago, so no problem.Of course, 5 minutes after I put the kebabs on...the sky opened up!
I do a crab Alfredo. Kinda had a hankering for it. Was thinking maybe tossing the crab legs on the grill before tossing it into the pasta. You may have inspired me to go for it.I made chicken alfredo over grilled chicken.....
I had to retire my charcoal grill 30ish years ago. Bought a gas grill. Had it long enough I had to overhaul it a couple times. Then moved to NE Illinois in 2002. Overhauled it a couple more times after moving. About 3 years ago I gave up. Rolled it to the curb and bought a new one. Couple guys in a pickup rolled past. Saw the junk grill. Stopped and loaded it up. Elapsed time ...... less than an hour.My grill is in the garbage can for tomorrow's pickup. I ran it until the legs and belly pan rust out. Hey, the black spray helped keep it running at least an extra month or two. The poor thing had a big ole hole where the charcoal was supposed to go and was leaning way over from the rusted out legs - lol. Suppose I'll have to break done and get another now...
Cheddar Snausages & Brat's are my favorites!Burgers and johnsonville chedder sausages here-----Happy LABOR Day!

I get that. I’m either wired that way too or learned from my Dad. I tend to be a fixer if at all possible. JB Weld is my friend. Work on my own cars and pretty much anything else mechanical. I am not an electrician, plumber or carpenter. Anything else is fair game. You Tube has been great. Watch a video and then decide..... yep, I can totally do that or..... nope, I’d be way in over my head.Ya, I think I just get a kick out of keeping stuff going as long as I can. The lap top I'm typing on now has had the screen, CD/DVD drive, keyboard replaced. It has tape and glue hold things on that would other was fall off. The 'grill' where the fan blows out is essentially a hole - lol. Oh, well...
