I've got a chance to pick up a G 12M Greenback on c'list.
Guy pulled it from a vox ac 15, says there was a tear near the rim that was 'nicely' repaired with glue.
My questions, for those of you who have repaired speakers before, what the best type of glue for long
lasting performance, &, what's the chances of the repair holding up.
The speaker, if I get it, will either be in a 2x12, replacing 1 of the 70/80 for flavor, or by itself in a new 1x12 cab.
Either way, it will only be driven by a Vjr 5w, & not driven hard.
Here's a pic of the suspect
The area at the top is where the repair is.
One from the rear
Thanks in advance.
