Life might require a Klon pedal

RAT & Sweet Baby are my 2 pedals..use em basically as a boost & the RAT as an EQ -mid shift to lay on top for leads. Thinking a Klon is the next step in the tone evolution..some more transparent-leaving amp grit as main feature but break it a lil dif..,,no tonal shift in amp required..just nuance to enhance the 74 Super & 73 Pro

So this is a good inexpensive choice

These are very high quality pedals, which can be found cheaper used

Thanks RVA....been eying that Moskey up for awhile. Saw it for $22 & gold one for $21...

What am thinking..for Fender. use my pedals very sparingly & don't twist the knobs a whole lot except maybe from bright to dark guitar.

Maybe the 2 Moskey pedals can do it !!.. I have their $12 buffer at end of my board it is made nice & does bring the noise down

Just moved the Bigner LaGrange to the "bump' board..Boss OD3 is acting funny again

I bought the gold and the silver Mosky "Klones" since they were so cheap. I found them to be near identical except the silver has the voice switch, so I gave the gold to a forum member. Both good pedals. In fact, I did a clip where i compared the 2 Mosky, the Mythical Overdrive and a hand-built klone and nobody could tell the difference.

Thanks for info..do you think the "1" sound of bump could be in there vs even wasting time ..not so picky on brands ..the amp does the main tone..just need the appropriate bump to accent

Yes. I will say that it is a little harder to dial in a cleanish mid bump with that pedal as opposed to the others. If a klon style clean is what you desire, maybe consider the others. If it is just a mid bump you are after, consider an eq

have EQ &donr do well with em,,maybe i meant harmonic character bump..it will just be at edge of break up on the amp...is the Klon the one the will color opposite say a Rat or Typical pedal..i heard one with a BF Fender somewhere once & it was so sweet

If you like, I can record some clips for you tonight. The Mosky, Mythical Overdrive and "Like My Pedals" klons are all on my board

would def listen to em..was working on B minor song for Tuesdays studio session. Found my main tone just now..put the Bogner la grange on the bump board..was able to put the Rythym where it needed & RAT on Top...the La really had some major tweaks at its disposal..think its staying..the 73 pro is sounding really 45ish.

OK, I will do a simple B minor diddy tonight

if you could do a amp clean then hit pedal with a tiny coloring...then a medium boost..where do i send the check..lol. good vids or clipsare hard to come by sometimes, of just going clean then pedal then clean- pedal. as the settings change.that is where i can really hear whats going on vs 10 minutes of shredding

Well, I don;t shred so no worries! I will do a clean clip and then clips clips at various settings on the Mosky. If that is not the pedal for you, we will try another
