That was my 1st Marshall! I traded it for a Laney AOR30 combo which I turned into a DSL50H

Hi Rob,Interesting...
I've never had a fizz issue after my tube swaps.
Hi Rob,
I was really wanting to get closer to a bedroom Volume Trowerish Tone … The Bleed Cap Option is just one way to help roll off those highs …… I like the stock Value when I’m Turned up at a Jam though ……The Cool part is The instant Change capability …… I use all three settings at different times …… Here’s a demo vid where a guy did the same thing to a DSL100H …
I would have to say all the above, made the changes to your liking, quite well !That's interesting. I've never heard of doing the C19 with a microswitch!!!@!!@!!! How cool is that???
I found that changing the V1 and V4 tubes, to lower gain versions, really changed the amp's tonal character and brought depth to the gain channel.
Perhaps my use of a 55Hz speaker has a little bit to do with it too????

It certainly does the job it is meant to do!My DSL40C is every bit as loud as our lead players 50watt full stack. He says, "I've never heard a combo thump and yet cut through like that..."
But, the response of the WGS Reaper 55Hz also gives the amp a louder voice too and much more headroom...
Nope. Never had a 4210. Just the Canadian 4010.is this your 4210? I thought or had a 1982 4210 & they turned them into channel switchers?
I got it with the head cab and the combo cab but it was in rough shape.

That's in the old 1960 cab next to it.
Same here. People need to part with these for less than the price of an innocent soul.
I've been wanting a Laney forever also. Lionheart's been on my wish list since it first came out.
