Stop that! His lyrics are better than his musings, but it was a well crafted documentary full of good tunes and clipsI've wasted an hour of me life!

I do like several of his tunes--- he plays better than I can ever dream of has shared the stage with the Immortals like BB King---I even own one of his CD's ! -- so there ya go -

I must say, this fellow demonstrates really good technique...and yet there is something missing in his work that fails to ignite a spark in me???

Not everything is for everybody. This seems to diverge from your tastes as I know them. Always worth a look though!

he was smart..got paid..now can go jam his butt off for the rest of his life..also...songs you write that are poppy is ok...do you play in front of 5 or 5000+ ?...with peeps singing back to you ..the stuff you wrote..i respect everybody who straps up, its not all my cup of tea but..i know what it takes to get to the next level..its a war....people will bash you..to me thats a sign ya hit a nerve & got it going....

whether you like em or not can flat out freaking play & love what they do...I dig Gary Clark Jr & Derek Trucks. in the music scene these days...nice to see guitar driven music without so much theatrics.... just entertaining...

Not a fan of his vocals but damn the boy can play. I have a good amount of respect for him overall, and because he's a figure in my two biggest hobbies (guitars and watches - he's a huge watch collector) I run across articles and interviews with him from two different worlds and he does seem like a genuine dude.

i would enjoy having a gear discussion with JB....JM..hey he would be a great one to share the stage with......i just wanna jam with Gary Clark JR tho.....& Derek Trucks.....& then go into the studio with the 'Wrecking Crew" from the days of studio bliss.....
Ahhh!!!!!! Gotcha...
But in all honesty, these Kats wouldn't likely give me the time of day. When you do encounter someone in the working studio environment, the meter is running and everything is very structured. I've only met a handful of artists that I considered an Influence and I kept things very professional.
