BFT Gibson
Ambassador of Originality
1974 Fender Super Reverb 6l6 45 watts , Reverb, Tremolo, tilt back legs, Jupiter 10" speakers...MASTER REMOVED...soon as i plugged in strat--hit 2 chords & ran a lead..instant SRV..sold !! Turned it off...tried the 59 bassman..,my jtm45 would eat it & spit it out.,,could tell it wont push through like an M would..cool amp but if you are used to Marshall..its hard to play a bassman. good amp tho for sure..lets pay homage to the circuit that Jim in England rewrote rock history with a few tweaks. Got this cause i have 2 challenging songs that arnt my typical range..first 2 chords -it got it. I just know this will rhythm fat & tight & M circuit will layer right on it...then Mrs BFT will have her space in the vocals.. great amp
Myth 1 busted...Too heavy...they aint that heavy..its a thinner width & with wheels..what a blessing picking up vs 4x12's all the time.
Myth 2 busted.. Cant play at low level....they do low volume extremely well(actually pretty hi fi like at low level) most say they are not able to..MV is even removed & its very easy to find a talking level tone
Marshall all the way for me but somethings are naturally just great at what they do..no forcing this bad boy..just let it do its thing
