Just arrived

Ghost town is right......He is recruiting the good ones:cheers:

Welp...SA had a few, there was only a few there that was worth a look @ (SG’s), and the one Gibby that spoke to me had a huge flaw on the front, but there was that Tony Iommi SG there and that thing just growled......I am not going to rush over it, I still want to look @ a few more Gibby’s first...
But the EPI sure was nice, neck was good and it just really sounded sweet thru this Mesa I tried it on....

I want another to tune to c# standard.
Hence the arctic white
But I need to continue to focus on a bunch of quality speakers.
We all know what happens

I have the EPI G400 Faded in Worn Brown , a 2015 I think.
Or, my son has it for the last 2 years.
Good playing, it is all stock and everything works as it should.
the neck profile is the slim taper D very common on EPI guitars.

The stock A5 pickups are ok, some say they are muddy; they are not the current ones which the internet seems to like.
No coil split on this model.

Played a Gibson once for a few minutes some years ago so I couldn't say how they compare.

EDIT: forgot pic!; or its just Bigfoot sightings.

The G400 is a sweet guitar, only thing I really like about the Iommi model is the jack plug is on the side like a LP and the pups are a bit hotter.....The coil splits are nice and have them on one of my Epi LP’s, but I don’t use that option much...I just like the growl from the Iommi pups and jack...But is it worth another $400 just for that, when maybe I can just get some hotter pups for the base G400....
