My 1978 "The Paul" all stock T-buckersYep a 1979. I did a resto thread last year after I bought it. It was in dire need of some TLC. One of you new guys has a The Paul and that is on my find list to complement The SG.
An interesting tech piece is the tripower 2013 Supra on the left. The pup selector switch does the bridge, bridge/neck, neck selection like normal. BUT, the switch knob twists and is a volume pot that add the middle pup to any of the 3 selections. I have never seen THAT before. That adds a lot of tonal combinations to work with.

Nice..my SGJ is my fav..first guitar when i converted from bass a few years ago..61 alnico's are the stuffDid someone say something about SG love? Here are my SGs. Two of them are currently visiting Sp8ctre so I can't get a picture of the 3 of them together at the moment. However I am working on setting up a place for them to come back home to me soon. So yeah, I got's me some SG love. Out of all the guitars I have owned, SGs are my favorite.

Sweet !! My Nighthawk has changed my life..it covers it all. see you had the standard, with the mid pup.. how was that mid position?Oh, nice ! That’s what I’m looking for. And is that a Nighthawk! I bought one in 2000 from a good friend back that gigged a lot in smoky bars. It played great but I could never get rid of that Smokey smell on the guitar or case. Wound up selling it after a few months.

I was looking around for the different clips I have, because prior to picking up the studio LP it was always my go to instrument!Jam that SG Mitch![]()
When I purchased my faded, I played 2 different faded SG’s worn cherry, and a walnut, they both sounded great but the worn cherry just seemed to stay in tune better.Sooner or later I will find the SG that fits me, I am going to Sam Ash today to see what they might have on hand and sit a bit and try some....The better half says that I can get an SG for my BD, but its just a matter of time before I snag the right one....If its a Gibby fine, but I will give the Epi’s a go as well....
I like the look of the Tony Iommi one..But it lists formlike $849. @ SW new....
Stay tuned and I will find out if they might have one avail..

So sometime this week?I am going to take my time, since I have others to play on.....For some reason I am going to be a bit picky about the feel and mojo it may or may not have this time, since I am gassin hard for it...
Maybe by the time I become Ambassador of the Swamp I will have one![]()
