The Muse I Adorn

Nice Esquire I think that is the best Fender guitar.

I met Les Paul in Juneau AK he owned a house in Juneau and would go King Salmon fishing May through June most years.
The first time Lester and his friends were having trouble docking their boat I helped them tie up the boat during a storm
and helped them off the boat on to the dock. I said your Les Paul and you are Steve My friends call me Lester
I said I wish I had my Les Paul Custom for you to autograph What LPC do you have the Black with gold hardware with P90's
Volute or non Volute ?? Non Volute OH those are the good ones you better keep that one Steve.
Anyway he was joking all the time real funny Man.

AXL husk build. the slot were cut; I figured if the fret install went sideways it would be a dedicated slide unit.
But it plays great.
It recently got an unexpected upgrade with the black Grover tuners that came off the Agile AD-2300 in my quest to reduce the neck dive.
$20 Guitarmadness 57 special pickup sounds good, though I dont have a Gibson to compare it to.

Very cool! Flame top and all!
Thanks! It’s the gaudiest guitar that I currently own...don’t get me wrong...I love it... but it is awfully “pretty” for my tastes. In the 25 years of time with me, it has been hit by a stray dart, and has been on fire once...I obviously took care of that quickly.
It has a very Fender neck, which is why I purchased it. It’s fairly comfortable to play.
The strings that are on it right now are heinous. No better description for them.
The bridge area of the top is pooching out a bit too...got a bit of belly happening. That’s why I retired it to case duty. I think I will seek out the lightest acoustic strings I can find for it, to see if that helps. There isn’t much bridge to take down, to make up for the belly bulge.

Played a gig tonight for a few hundred people.
Had to travel light because of many stairs to get in.
S2 Mira in a gig bag, little Zoom multi FX unit and a
23 pound Roland JC 22 I don't have a picture of yet,
put an E609 in front of the JC 22 and made much music.
