Does this fire highlights project still burn you with desire, or is it all moot because you sold the 3 tone body?

I will be torching a Strat...I just need a cheaper one. Profit is profit...just ask Adrian.
 
I like the idea of a natural body with crispy highlights as an artistic finish.

Not so sure I will like something relic'd to look like it got picked out of a structure fire.

In the footage of Monterey Jimi let the guitar burn for 20 seconds. He then smashed it. The first Strat he burned was not destroyed immediately. He played it for a while because it's said he burnt his fingers doing so...

I'll go for a 20 second burn and see what happens...

The Zappa Strat seems to be a 3 tone burst from all the pictures I've seen. It was burned in Miami.

All my research leads to Jimi doing the fire thing about three times.
