The Muse I Adorn

Nice! What head it floating around in that cab top?
Just delivered today, via amazon. It’s a TC Electronic BH-250. For whatever reason, there was a price drop on Saturday night, and I experienced a moment of weakness.
It fits really well in there...the feet are just tall enough to have all of the controls clear the little lip in there. I couldn’t have asked for more really.
I’m just becoming acquainted with it...short bursts today...nice weather has kept me out in the yard....smoking ribs, and pit beans...

...And waiting for the Stanley Cup Final.

Tonight, my Gibson VOS 1960 Reissue, or R0 for short. I own and have played many guitars, and I am comfortable saying that this guitar is truly special

Here is a little noodle doodle of this guitar. It was recorded using the DI of my Weber head switcher, out of my Ceriatone OTS Mini. Clean, with some light plate reverb and soft delay. Both rhythm and lead tracks recorded on the neck pickup

Spent 2 weeks in the Sierras, at a place named Lake Almanor, helping my 84 year old FIL clear out their 3000+ sq ft primary home, after 45 years, to get it ready to sell. My MIL has had ALS for over 3 years and they moved to their winter home in Richmond, which is in the Bay Area, 3 years ago, and have not been back to the Almanor home since.

So this was a get-rid-of-everything marathon. We filled a 4 cubic yard dumpster 3 times, I did 6 trips to a charity with donations, 1 trip with about 500 books to the library, etc.

As Dorthy said, there’s, no place like home.

That's really clean. Good phrasing on that...

Having developed an almost insatiable need for a fat '58 neck profile and 24.75" scale, this guitar is my constant companion.

I rise at 4am and put in a couple hours of practice on this guitar...then, it goes to the studio and works all day, then comes home a d helps me teach guitar students. It gets played everyday...

I'm with Robert. My current obsession with Firebirds notwithstanding, at the end of the day if I am being 100% honest, my #1 is this:

2016 Traditional LE, plaintop and no weight relief. Fat 50's neck and 57/57+. This would likely take the desert island spot over even the '79 Custom.
