I am so hit and miss with pedals that I decided to go for one of these as a versatile tester/funbox...

$90 delivered to my door.

It is just a single digital pedal that you can bluetooth a whole load of other pedals too - I am hoping it'll find a permanent place on my pedalboard.

The quality of the effects is supposed to be decent. &, it is very easy to use; just flick through the selection on your phone then instantly bluetooth that pedal onto the stompbox.

&, there's so many to choose from, some are very well known pedals that I wanna buy anyways, so this can act as a test; do those pedals work through my rig, or does that type of pedal work on my rig or, do I like that amp sound (there are many amp sims too), or.

Here are the options:

You can only usually put one pedal at a time on the stompbox, but there are combos which might be useful such as OD&boost, reverb&delay...

"signature" & "special" models:

Over 30 cab models too...

Sooooooo, I have never liked stuff I've owned such as the Digitech all in one effects box (I think I had a couple over the years), but the Yamaha THR10 does a decent job of the digital effects, so it's possible...

Maybe a few of youse already have one of these, but it should be worth $90 - even if it stops me buying strange pedals just to try out, such as a treble booster or octave, because they are all available on here - if the quality is too low (might be?) then I at least know that the basic sound type works for my rig...

Wow! That’s a lot of modeling going on there!

Yeah, I am a bit dubious about the quality although the sound clips do sound good. At least you can use them one by one, on the pedalboard with other pedals - I quite like this concept because it gives you more control of each pedal.

They have blatantly ripped off a lot of classics (Fender/Marshall/Vox do the same on their modelling amps...), so there are maybe 50% or so that I know or at least think I know.

I'll report back on every one, creating a different thread for each... :p

Wow...that's more than I can figure out!!!!

The point is Robert = it is easy! That's why I like it.

You flick through the different pictures on your phone or tablet then when you get to the one you like you press "load", and the stompbox changes to that device. Easy, that's why I like it. Imagine for your uses, out gigging, you could have the option of these 100+ pedals to download ontop that stompbox carcass - no matter what the changes in your set or requests from the audience, you'd have the right pedal...

"good luck with, ALL THAT" ---

It's simply...

I've downloaded the app already and pedal options include:

- 4 different Xotic effects boosts/overdrives (I've been thinking about buying one of those such as the EP Booster)
- EHX Big Muff
- Rat
- Boss Metal Zone
- Fulltone OCD (which I was thinking about buying)
- Boss BD2
- Marshall Governor
- Ibanez TS9/TS808
- DOD FX69 grunge
- Digitech Bad Monkey
- MXR Distortion + (which I was thinking about buying)
- Wampler Plexitortion (which I was thinking about buying)
- Boss OD1 (which I've always thought I should own)
- Boss DS 1 (which I've always thought I should own)
- Suhr Riot (I've nearly bought one of them a couple of times)
- Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive
- B. K. Butler Tube Driver
- Hermida Zen Drive
- Keeley C4 compressor (I nearly bought one of those recently)
- MXR compressor
- ISP Decimator noisegate
- MXR 90 phaser
- EHX Small Clone
- Demeter TRM-1
- Voodoo Lab Microdrive
- She-ei Uni-vibe
- Maxon CS 550 (quite a few different Maxon pedals)
- MXR dual delay
- Maxon AD80 analog delay
- EHX Deluxe Memory Man
- Boss analog delay
That's not even a quarter of them...

Also, it simulates several Mesa amps including the Dual Rectifier...

If the sounds decent (???) then it has to be worth $90 hasn't it?

That wouldn’t work for my purposes. We often transition with no breaks between songs.

For me it’s better to just have the pedals on the board ready to go.

Sure -- like hte VOX (similar but not quite as many options) I just got --- its a great amp with many options--- Ive set 3 models I like and well -- there ya go-- the rest becomes WAY to many "choices"
you get decision paralysis and spend 3 hours dicking with knobs and patches -- and you never PLAY anything --- but thats just me--- Im simple
Bass-- cord--amp--- BOOM
similar to
Click Click BOOM

I'd like to try one of those just for fun. If the pedal emulations are anywhere near the real thing it would be a great test bed!

Yeah, for different folks it'll do different things; you wouldn't wanna be changing it mid-set.

I get what you're saying; it's certainly nice to plug and play.

Also, I buy lots of pedals, and with all the options on this, and so many of them copies of pedals I'd like to try/buy, it'll give me the opportunity to see if those pedals work with my amp.

It's very easy to use:

This video is 18 months or so old, so there are a lot more options now.

That's my thinking.

Also, on the couple of videos I've seen, they suggest the cab sims work well - that'd be interesting to try out (not sure how that could work going into an amp speaker rather than a PA, but folks are saying it does work well - nice to have a 4x12 at your fingertips?).

That stereo version in the video sells for $250 on Amazon. The Mini you posted is a reasonable $79...

What if this "kitchen sink" of modeling Sims doesn't properly represent a pedal that you want to get familiar with? Would you know the difference? Yes, the glass is half empty...
