it does look very compact --- should only take 1 or 2 good hammer blows to kill it ------


its at this juncture I will point out my issues (yes again) with the Marshall CODE--- the bluetooth linkie thing to the ap that worked the crap--- never worked--- returned 2 BRAND NEW amps-- because neither worked---one not at all one "occasionally" but would lock up my phone---- and I would have to RESET everything ---

What if this "kitchen sink" of modeling Sims doesn't properly represent a pedal that you want to get familiar with? Would you know the difference? Yes, the glass is half empty...

Hmmm...

Well, the first thing I can do when it arrives is a direct comparison between my TS808 and the sim. Then, I should have an idea of how close the sim sounds to the real thing through my amp. Then I can compare the compressor and the reverb/delays I have with similar sims on the Xtomp.

At this moment in time, I have no idea of how close the sim will be to the real thing, but I will be able to test it out when the little beastie arrives - and for $90 delivered (I believe that the mini has almost completely the same functionality as the original more expensive model) what's to lose?



&, Sysco, you suggested I try a TS into a TS, and I will be able to do just that - it should be a very good method of checking out pedal stacking capabilities/options.

IMHE you will be able to get "close" similarity ----but not EXACT --
The modlers Ive owned -- when set side by side with the amp or pedal they are modeling (only been able to achieve that a couple times) are -- again "close" but not the same
Ive comped a VOX VT20 to a real Vox Ac30 --- it was "similar" at low volume -- but lacked a depth and richness the real ac30 had
same with pedals (the few) I tried with the Vox VT20-- the PEavey Vypry-- the Fender Mustang--you get IMHO "close enough for govt work" but nothing is ever 100% exact...

that said I agree 100% 1 90.00 pedal -- that makes 300 pedals "ish" tones-- hey your ahead of the game by THOUSANDS of dollars
