LOL Dam n what? Ro Ber
OH and is that 100 Watt 16 Ohm Gold Back, yours?
And did you read this that I posted in post 105?
Ibanez Tube Screamer History
Funny the last time I used my TS9 was with my Trainwreck Rocket and 1961 Strat. 2008 The name of my amp is Ruby
Only 8 Rockets were made by Ken the one in the video is a reissue. My Rocket has a quad of NOS EL84 Mullards can't buy them now
Good luck on your quest hope it works out.
I absolutely love a treble booster slamming a cranked Marshall... :dood:. My favorite pedal that I own is a Rangemaster (Treble Boost) built by Don Butler, aka Toneman. There is such a huge wow-factor when this pedal is on... makes me feel like a Rock God!Even though it's counter-intuitive in some respects, a treble booster can hit the right frequencies to bring everything together. That might be something for Robert to consider? I watched a lot of videos on it today, and sometimes a treble booster hitting a well overdriven amp sounds amazing - seems to have been standard to hit a Marshall with a treble booster in the 60s/70s.

I wish I had not seen this.
The rabbit hole is calling...
My two Treble Boosters
WTF? Did you finish your spelling recital?have I mentioned MEsa?
nope -- got side tracked/////WTF? Did you finish your spelling recital?
Sounds familiar... Where have I heard this before? …Dude..........this is a good tune

That's what Daniel is using in this video...
Gear used: -Marshall DSL40C with upgraded V30 speaker
-ESP LTD H-1001 with EMG 81 and 85 active
-Pyle Pro PDPmic58
-Behringer Tubescreamer clone
-REAPER -behringer umc202hd interface
-no eq or post processing settings: -tubescreamer gain off and level 7, tone neutral -amp settings at beginning of video except channel volume around 3.5 (full power 40 watt mode)
No ones touched upon the V30 speaker also EMGs being used... :dood:
Also the TS is being used as a clean boost only, tone neutral....
I think you mentioned having an EQ pedal.... could try it as a clean boost, EQ settings neutral or slight bump in the mids to taste..
I agree with you!! :dood:To my ears, the key there is the V30. The boost adds some girth but that tone is textbook high-gain V30.
I agree with you!! :dood:
(maybe all ready stated in this thread)
That using the TS as he does in the video in conjunction with the V30 tightens up the low end of this speaker.
Flubbyness is sometimes associated with the V30 under certain applications.
