I have the Mexi with a US Tex Special loaded pick guard Ninja put in for me....It sounds delicious

I didn't even realize it was a Gilmore'ish strat until someone said something. But, that's fine with me - he is a very tasteful lead guitar player to say the least...

first thing I thought of when I saw it.
Second "I want that!!"

Well, it came in - had issues - got into with MF over it - sent it back for a full refund. This guitar buy ruffled my feathers, so, long story short I don't own an mim strat and don't even want to think about. BUT, I do now own this:



And it came with this too:





And, I got it all for less money than the open box mim strat.
It doesn't have a whammy - but, oh well, it does fill my P90 wants.
I'll just have to see what comes my way whammy bar wise for now.

That guitar won’t fit that case the bag looks ok tho, the guitar is fatter at the top than the hard case



Or is it upside down side up !

Ya, it's too big for the melody maker but it has the nice USA gig bag, which is fine. The case I will probably sell/trade off - unless I get something that'll fit it first.

It's very sweet. It's a 2011 and it looks new - like really new. The guy said he bought it from Sam Ash, couldn't play it do to arthritis and it just sat until he decided to sell his gear I guess. The Slime has a brother...

The mim players strat was a compromise, as I really wanted an American strat as I've never owned one. That said, I'd rather have this USA Gibson Melody Maker over the Players strat any and every day of the week
