Bread Bag Strap locks

I haven't seen that particular one Don O. I like it because of the design its narrower, takes away the squareness of the other strap. I like mine works well, Thanks for sharing . I will be on the lookout for this one.

The strap material is a little softer too. It's a positive locking design, meaning it will not be attached to the button unless it is really locked.

Oh no, a fail, 1:00 am wine induced late night singalong guitar strap fail. Best start drinking Grolsh from now on
I tried one on my heritage 80 LP (with a Grolsch washer on the back button) & had the same failure, though it did last an hour & a half. They are just too brittle I think. I think I'll put a few felt washers under the button & see if a Grolsch washer will stay on & not be popped off by the double thickness leather strap.
I get the Grolsch washers from the local home brewing shop. He sells 50 packs but after telling him what I wanted them for he's started selling how ever many you want. Cheers

i installed some schaller s lock strap locks today on my SG. excellent design, a little different than the old ones. you can see how its different in the picture. the only thing about them is the screw that goes into the body requires an allen wrench vs a phillips head screw driver. the topper that sandwiches the strap screws on and is locked in place with a set screw. you need a teeny flat head to do that (the size of a jewel screw driver) ... so my only gripe is it requires specialty tools to install them. the design is awesome.

Hmmmmm... that’s pretty cool! The set screw thing is new to me...nice idea!
I use them on a few guitars. Oddly enough though, I don’t use them on any of my Gibsons. No real reason, other than I don’t like them poking at me from a neck heel(like on an SG or V).
LP style mounts are a different story though...I have them on my Gladiator LP and LP Special style guitars, amongst others.

The set screw on the nut is a good improvement. I've got quite a few sets of the older style and the nuts do work themselves loose. I've since tried a few types of locking straps and I really like this style. Works on any type of strap button, and as Don pointed out, works well on an SG.
