Interesting.
Are they robust / sturdy enough?
Over-size strap buttons?
Yup. Never had one break, yet.

I dig that “Canadian Brown” sound....
At least it does take much dough to buy them! You gotta have the “bread” for ‘em though...![]()
But which bread has the best tone???
Sorry guys, couldn't resist.

I have a few of them and like them. Then I stumbled across this guy and really like them.

I haven't seen that particular one Don O. I like it because of the design its narrower, takes away the squareness of the other strap. I like mine works well, Thanks for sharing . I will be on the lookout for this one.
I tried one on my heritage 80 LP (with a Grolsch washer on the back button) & had the same failure, though it did last an hour & a half. They are just too brittle I think. I think I'll put a few felt washers under the button & see if a Grolsch washer will stay on & not be popped off by the double thickness leather strap.View attachment 22606

i installed some schaller s lock strap locks today on my SG. excellent design, a little different than the old ones. you can see how its different in the picture. the only thing about them is the screw that goes into the body requires an allen wrench vs a phillips head screw driver. the topper that sandwiches the strap screws on and is locked in place with a set screw. you need a teeny flat head to do that (the size of a jewel screw driver) ... so my only gripe is it requires specialty tools to install them. the design is awesome.
