HAHA Sorry Robert for all the hum, but one thing for sure, this is a Live Sound,..........

12,200.00 for a BASS?!?!?! -- this flies in the face of all things that are bass........Im sorry Mr FOdera can KEEP that ugly pile of overpriced fanciness.
If You like that shape You can get something like that in at least the same quality for far less than half the price here: Torillo Basses - fully customized (that guy does fully customized instruments, and at least his Voltas and Shevettes can be real rock engines....)

Hope all went well

A really somber tone. Kelli's memorial service is today.

I bought those bass strings years ago and never put them on. The ball ends on the strings I pulled off had turned green. I think I got my money's worth!!!

WOW these Foderas depreciate more than cars--

Guy on a bass forum is trying to get 6500.00 for an "Emperor" made by the MAN himself Vinny Fodera-- and paid over 11k for it---he has reduced the price twice now-- still no takers

Ya gotta do like Col did with his Jazz. He got for a hunnerd or so back in the day, played a shid ton of music with it, sanded off the finish and then made his own personalizing mods before there was something called relic'n or custom shop built, or even "vintage, closet queen, cork sniffer, tone wood, so n so's signature model. It was not the gotta have IT or else you'll sound as bad as a beginner Affinity Squier model type bass. It was just a used old Jazz which by luck of simply surviving to real old age enough to where eventually old would mean valuable and desirable.

Maybe as the years go by the likes of Fodera, Ken Smith, Alembic and the other custom type basses that depreciate will then hit bottom and bounce up in value as father time repeats itself.

I agree- but --- its gonna take MANY moons for the Fodera to go back up to 11k---

Peavey T-45 sold for 350.00 NEW in the 80's -- and they are about that NOW

I wasn't saying it was a sure thing it WOULD go up,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I think I was posing a maybe it POSSIBLY could happen type deal.
BTW, At my trip to Atomic, the same Squier P bass like you just got was selling for $399

Oh and my 1979 Les Paul Standard with T Top pups can be had for somewhere north of 2-3K and here I bought the darn thing around $375 with case and sadly I sold it for like $425 back in 1991
