New Guitar Project. Another Warmoth project. I bought this body and neck in December. With it raining cats and dogs here in So Cal today, it seemed like a good time to start a project.

The body is maple burl on roasted swamp ash. The neck is bocote with a black ebony board. Given it's a Warmoth burl body, I named it Wurl.

I had Warmoth route the body for P90s and PRS controls. When I started to layout pots and such, the volume pot is WAY too close to the bridge pup. Plan B, install a momentary kill switch there and drill another hole for a 3 way switch and use the original other 2 holes for volume and tone.

I could park a car in the electronics cavity, it's huge.

Oh, the problem with having multiple projects parts acquisition going on is things can change mid project. I decided to try another neck on the body, and well, I just loved the look. This is a purple heart board on a roasted maple neck. I just happened to have a PH truss rod cover, a PH 3 way switch knob and PH P-90 covers, all for the other project.

Well they are in play now. The new name is now Purple Wurl. :ROFLMAO:

Got the tuners on Saturday and finished him up Sunday. The Gibson vintage P-90s puts out a hefty signal at full volume ! And the clean tone straight into the Mesa is quite nice. I gotta working on my sound clip recording setup.

So here he is and oh, the stand, I saw at the NAMM show and just had to have it. And yeah, the TRC is off, I had just set the truss rod....
