I love Purple Heart! How is it as a fretboard?

It’s denser then rosewood, close to a black ebony. I have another one being made.

Been playing for a while today. I strung it with Elixir 10s and a wound 17 G. The wound G sounded like a tin can, can’t explain why, since I put the same combination on the Wrat and it sounds great. Put the original Elixir G on and a world of change.

These P-90s are sure different !

TR, I did that cork board back in the 80s, actually did 2 of them. Ya might have missed a post I did on my real cork project (same room) it used over 5000 corks, about a third of my stash.
