I can tell that your are not very accurate with your circular saw skills. You missed a bunch of other fingers!

OUch I opened that link, sysco. Just while eating pasta n meat sauce
That was really you? gasket How long ago was this? I have had my share of mishaps, but never to a point of sawing myself.
Yep stupid me, 2013.
Great outcome, thumb looks normal (a few scars) all of the missing flesh grew back, even with fingerprints. Lost a little sensation on one side, no big deal.
Funny comment
Laying there not knowing if I was going to have four or five fingers on that hand had me thinking back to my early life working as a mechanical fitter. So many of my coworkers had missing fingers, occupational hazard. I was pi**ed off thinking I'd gone so long and done this in my retirement at home :-(
Lucky I didn't post the series of healing photos.
I have done this basement wall cutting job before. Although I wore full protection as it was quite dusty, quite yucky work. Oh and we also had to dig out the dirt on the other side of the wall as the job also involved forming up and pouring concrete steps down to the new door opening we were installing.
ok gasket pics or it dint happn

At least you are wearing the proper shirt...More dangerous than circular saws ... the 9" diamond blade angle grinder!
Last week I cut three openings through brick walls in my basement.
I never learn, no eye, hearing, lung or foot protection, I must be a thrill seeker (or just stupid).
