OUCH, you are right about more than a used F150 truck.

Turns out I was having a nightmare this morning that all the stuff in the kitchen cabinets was re-arranged to a way that made no sense. Plus the silverware dividers I made to separate the spoons, forks and knives etc was all gone and despite looking everywhere, I could not find it to put the kitchen back the way it was. In my dream, this is where she came down to see what I was doing and told me she bought some book that cost a lot of money to tell her how her kitchen should be arranged. It was at this point of my finding out some expensive book was why she needed to put all the stuff in places that was just plain stupid, that got me so tweaked I was wailing. Suddenly she woke me to see if I was ok. I said yes, why? She told me I was screaming.

I know they say dreams have hidden meanings, so I can only blame Adrian for this outrageously expensive Strat post as the real reason I was wailing in my sleep.

lol ya. only thing i dont like about it is i wish they would of left the Fender logo upside down. Any one notice how the rear pup is angled like a upside down lefty guitar. Fender 65 Grey bottom pickups in it. Its all American Vintage parts put together in Mexico. Thanks Adrian,it is a beauty.I hated Strats and Teles when i was a kid. What my Dad played lol.

I was very lucky to be too poor and to never hate any guitars. Once I scraped to save up $350 for my first electric, I bought my first LP and loved it incredibly. Also, the 1st time I tried an electric guitar through an amp, it was a Strat at a music store called Gordon Miller Music through some Marshall combos. I still remember it was that beautiful natural ASH color. There was just something magical about knowing a guitar like either one could be made to sound like all my favorite bands could make them sound.

I help you all work passed the logic and and the side of your brain that says--I have bills and a wife to support and --taxes and ADULT things-0----- no I dont NEED a Marshall stack with 1000 watts--- or a 5th Gibson-- or a 8,000 strat nope I dont------

See then I help kick that guy in the balls-- and stuff him in a locker and get you headed for that BUY IT NOW button--- ;)
See Im a giver ;)

It's all true, he got me to do dumb stuff too. I drove interstate 4 thru Orlando both ways just to see him, VoxAc30 and Hack for hamburgers and beer ( and Coke)
And I brought 2 SG's and a P bass to the party. For an hour of sharing guitars between Vox, Adrian and myself, I had to load and unload and load and unload and load and unload them in and out of her car and into our hotel rooms in Asheville NC, Charleston SC, Daytona FL, Lakeland FL to play with the fellas, Savannah GA, Nags Head NC and finally home to Maryland. I almost felt like I needed a roadie. Had I just gone with 1 guitar, it would have been way simpler but of course less fun once hanging out with the boys. Traveling with nearly $4k in guitars definitely made it essential to have them in a hotel room when not actually in the car with them.

Thanks Adrian, Vox and Hack for our fun time.
