So this is where the Fender guys hang out eh?

Im very much liking this white lovely-- she is certainly the PERFECT one for me --- as stated in the opening I have probably fondled at least 50 strats in my time---this has that "old pair of favorite faded blues jeans" feel none of the rest had ---
ANd through the MEsa it is just heavenly-- what a pair -- no pedals-- set the amp===ride the guitars knobs for "tones" ---- simple fun

BEing a Les Paul guy (when not playing bass) for most my life almost ALL of those feel familiar--instantly-- but the strats always had "weirdness" to them --- not this one

DAMN YOU GBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you see that bass?!?!?! DO YOU --- damn -- damn nation tarnation and HELL FIRE

and agreed that is a groovy awesome strat tone --

Status report -- its been a week or ---2--er 3-- since I got this white strat thing---- I have spent many many many hours -- FORCING MYSELF (cough) to play this "thing"-- this dented and dinged-- used-- decal stained 11th fret--- low "end" basic stock strat---from SOUTH of the border-------

and -- well -- TBTH -------

I FRIGGIN LOVE THE DAMN THING! "F" the Volume knob -- this thing flat out FEELS so good in my hands -- it has been my MOST PLAYED guitar since the day it got here -- I have even limited my BASS time -- while I fondle this thing and listen to the LOVELY tones it sends through the MESA ------

-- I tried SOOO many -- perhaps it was just a matter of FINDING "the one"

before I stumbled on this one I played (and owned) many ranging in price from 30.00 to 2300.00 (played the 2300 NOT owned) -- and none -- not one hit me like this one--- it layed the SAME mojo on me my other true love did ---

oddly BOTH came from JIMMYS VINTAGE MUSIC in AUBURNDALE FL .....there is SOMETHING about that place-------

The volume knob placement never bugged me. Stratocaster's are comfortable to play...

like I say -- it just took the "one" I guess---

I have been "advised" I need to modify it--- new nut--- upgraded pups--- better trem---
uhm....but .........after looking around -- Im like "why" -- I LIKE it the way it is------ why risk "f"ing it up -- it holds tune amazingly (even with heavy handed whammy action) it is intonated to perfection------it sounds great -- its totally noiseless in everything but the bridge position..........nope

not touching a THING!

If you want a traditional Stratocaster sound, no upgrades are needed.
