What Killed Rock Music ???

Here's the deal...Rock & Metal are not controllable...you can't use a band like Motorhead to promote products. Its not at all that Rock and Metal are dead. The modern audiences - in general - have been raised on Pop and Top 40, so its a different mindset...

Well, there are 5 examples above of just Motorhead being used. More probably exist if you wanted to dig.

The point being that nothing is immune to it and advertisers are well aware that for certain (aging) demographics what was once considered "dangerous" music is just nostalgia now. I've heard Motorhead, Judas Priest, The Buzzcocks, The Stooges, The Sex Pistols, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, and many others used to sell all sorts of products. They aren't doing it for the kids, they are targeting you and me with this kind of advertising and you can bet that it will persist for certain products for the next decade since we are in our peak earning years right now.
