One of my dearest friends took this photo of us last night. I am the old bugger with camo pants. Check out our rigs! It was loud! Turning the bass cab so that it is sitting directly on the floor is an old trick for maximizing the transmission of vibrations through the floor.

Looks like heavy stuff!

What city and genre?

Happy New Year, Dave.
Speaking of Doom Metal, I been thinking about my Laney AOR 50 Pro Tube head and considering how to do some of the maintenance I think it needs since I picked it up a couple years ago.

Here's a pic of me at a local bar playing at a blues jam. i played every Sunday there for about a year then the jam switched to Thursday. I played Thursdays for a couple of years but don't get there very often any more. It's turned into more of an open mic than a jam and I don't get along that well with the current organizer. I'm in the blue t-shirt. Looks like I'm playing a tele through one of the house amps. Shortly after this pic I started taking my own amp.

I think I meant "how"! So you did it yourself?
I had it done by the guys in Bill Lawrence's shop that he had on LaGuardia Place in the early 70's.
The guitar had a maestro when I got it. I wanted the tuning stability of a stop tail.

Tony, did you have it stripped of the oroginal finish or was it already brown when you got it in the first place?

I 2nd this question. It looks soooo sweet to me Bro Tony. The Custom in the middle I mean.
I dig the one on the left too.

Yeah, I ask just out of curiosity, it looks cool indeed, since I bought my faded brown SG I cant get enough info and mojo of them!
