RAY---- JUST DO IT!

Well my experience has been with older guitars with cracked finishes, and the results were not good.
Makes sense. Dan E. says it is a bad idea to use these types of products in those circumstances in the above video.

scotch----- brite---

no liquid needed---- simple only a few passes ......smooths it out like a new babies butt.....takes longer to find the tape and mask it off........and as stated COULD be polished back to gloss -- but since your eventually just going to send that ugly PRS made by that UPPITY Guitar Manufacturer ----with his pissy KNOW IT ALL attitude-- to me eventually anyway --- I mean I'll -- DO IT,. anyway, so............

RAY---- JUST DO IT!

I don’t think he’s gonna do it.

Maybe, Ray could send it back to PRS with a note:

“Hello Mr. Smith,

I don’t know if you remember me. You gave me the nickname, ‘Mr. Tuners’ at a recent event.

Ha ha! That was a hoot!

Good times...good times!

Anyway, please, find enclosed a stunning PRS guitar. I’m wondering if you could have someone on your fine team of skilled artisans knock down the gloss just a touch on the back of the neck?

I’d do it myself, but I’d much rather this be done at the factory from which this stellar piece of instrumental craftsmanship originally emerged. In this fashion, the alteration to the finish on the back of the neck will constitute a factory enhancement and not a user modification.

I’m willing to pay up to $200.00 USD for this work.

Please, enclose a company certificate, identifying the subject guitar by model and serial number, indicating this modification as a PRS factory customization.

Thank you,

Mr. Tuners”

Hey...it might work!!!

Aaaand, if PRS accepts Ray’s offer, he gets to spend $200.00 instead of $2.00!

Woohoo!!!

I have no doubt they would accept ...for $ 400. After all, I would be getting a certificate.

Truth is that I have not picked it up again. If it bothers me next time it is in my hands, I doubt it will survive my scant impulse control.
