Ambassador of the Guitarded
So from time to time here (and I suspect every guitar forum) we get posts deriding knockoff guitars, usually Chinese copies of Gibson. Yet within my friends and associates (not forum but face to face people) people rave about owning and the quality of old knockoffs. Do we have a double standard? An example on a (Australian) web site tonight, it looks very nice.

QUOTE ADD. " Japan's Fujigen factory made sensational copies of some of the world's greatest guitars under the Greco brand and this Ric 360 model is one of the their finest creations. They used premium quality timbers and hardware and the quality of construction rivals the original. The Ric shape is unmistakable and just pure class with its sexy curves, fluted F hole, lacquered fretboard, shark-tooth pearloid inlays and double creme' binding against a glossy fireburst finish !
She really nails that classic Ricky tone too, these high-gain style pickups really sparkle. The neck's straight and the frets are excellent, there's a few marks as you'd expect, but if you're looking for a high end semi-acoustic to enjoy every time you pick her up then this one would be a great choice. I've sold several of this model over the years and the feedback I've had from the buyers has always been great ! If you're a fan of Tom Petty, Paul Weller, Pete Townsend or those guys from England with those songs about a walrus and a submarine then you'll fall in love as soon as you plug her in.
You're welcome to inspect by appointment in Mitcham in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs or I'll send anywhere in Australia carefully packed and placed in the hands of Pack and Send. If you'd like a freight quote to your location just message me and and I'll arrange it straight away for you
Price is FIRM - sorry NO trades / NO offers / deposits / payment plans etc".
