I can't think of anything else that comes close to silly.
Depending on how old it is, and when the last time it was used, give it a good inspection before firing it up. Old capacitors are notorious for leaking and/or drying up. The cones on old speakers can become very brittle: Mainly the suspension area between the diaphragm and the frame. A blast of compressed air can tear those old speakers apart. Don't ask me how I know this...
