I bet you might have raced against a friend's brother in Hare Scrambles. His name was Joe Kraft.
He raced Husqvarna's

OK, bikers. Give yourselves a treat. When are you coming over?
RC was a master for sure---
but again I point out why my "career" was cut short--- I out grew Ricky in 8th grade----- racing on bikes or horses is a small mans game cant get a 250 cc to haul a 6'1" 220lb white boy around at a competitive speed---
I can pick the bike up and smack Ricki with it though ----- well probably not he is probably still pretty fast off the bike!!! lol
THIS was one of my all time favortie stunts --- I watched Evil (heavy Harlet with TWIN shocks) crash ----(even had the poster --- Evil Jumps the Palace)
I had chills when I saw this:
You can get superglue in different viscosities. Buy the thin oneSo, anyway.....
Did my first nut slot resurface / build up with mixed results.
No pics so I 'll tell my tale as folklore.
I did the baking soda and super glue.
The method I used was to pack the slot with baking soda then dab the glue on top, it is supposed to seep down and wet the baking soda through. I probably just did not use enough glue.
I used new glue, standard type not a gel, but it did not mix thoroughly.
when I filed the slot i cut through most of the glue and powdered baking soda underneath.
I dabbed more glue in the slot let dry, then filed it to depth and angle.
It worked out ok but I dont know if it will last.
This is on the D string of the hardtaill AXL LP Jr husk build so there is no trem but it gets a good bit of bends.
We shall see.
GO TO MUSICIANS FRIEND STUPID DEAL OF THE HOUR !!!!!
SG -- 600.00
HURRY less than an hour left!!!!!!!!!
I'm late.... what was the deal?
When you say "pack", hopefully you don't really pack the baking soda hard into the slot. Let the baking soda fall into the slot, and carefully blow off the excess with your finger covering the slot. Try not to pack down the baking soda. Then with a pippete, drop the thin cyanoacrylate glue (commonly referred to as CA glue or super glue) over the slot. The baking soda is used to form a chemical reaction with the glue that dries almost instantly and becomes harder than bone or, whatever other nut material.I did the baking soda and super glue.
