Got straps?

So, I'm kind of addicted to guitar straps, I love them.

Recently I got this oxblood colored leather strap by Walker & Williams, along with a new capo.

Jessica looks really cool with it, doesn't she?

Just like a good leather holster for a Colt Peacemaker.

And it wasn't expensive at all. Great bang for the buck. Available on Amazon.

Nice strap, looks like they have several leather styles at under $30. USD.
I would have chosen the Oxblood as well.
Nice touch to your stage presence.

I have an eye for nice straps too, but not the wallet.
There is a custom on-off guy on Reverb I have almost bought a pricey one from.
All handmade one of a kind or a series of similar themed.

I dig the plain Perris or Levys leather with the suede or rough backs.
Good enough and under $15, or even under $10 on some.

My wife bought me one of these last year for my birthday. It is hands down the best strap I’ve used. It is extremely well padded and soft on the shoulder. It does not slip, period, even on guitars with a serious neck dive. The padded portion has a curve to it to fit your shoulder so it may not work well for lefties. I’ll be asking for another one when my birthday rolls around again.

Ha ha... I have a guitar strap for each guitar. A little GAS kicked in, and I convinced myself that every one of my guitars should have a dedicated strap that's secured to each guitar that's hanging on the walls. This was not a good idea. I later became frustrated after constantly getting the straps caught onto the other guitars or pedals that sit on top of the amps which are underneath my amps. So now, all my straps reside in the guitar's case, and I only keep one strap laying around just in case I want to play my guitar while standing up. Go figure... :rolleyes2:

New guitar coming soon. PGK Tele kit. I 'm going to need another strap. Eh... here I go again... :BH:

This is a handmade embroided strap I got from a Brazilian artisan in São Paulo, these are GREAT straps. Very good cushion, they're made of cotton and got real smooth leather ends, plus metal instead of plastic rivets and adjustment ring.

Pipeline Straps is the name. Probably the best hippie style strap I've ever seen, and damned comfortable. I'm yet to try Souldier and Air Straps, though.

Silly as it sounds, i like the plain old Ernie Ball nylon straps, with a guitar that has good balance, ie no neck dive, and is not boat anchor heavy.
Bare bones functional, but bare of any style or cool factor.

However, I am left wanting in my minimalist approach.....

Same here - I use 3' soft leather ones for the Les Pauls and regular nylon mesh ones for the rest of 'em. Perri's are the best value in straps I have found.

For the most part, I don't like my guitar straps to stand out and detract from the guitar.

So, most of them are pretty non-descript, black leather straps, like this strap on my Les Paul:

However, I do have a couple of exceptions.

I have this studded strap for my Stratocaster:

Finally, I have this riveted, segmented strap for my Jackson, which contributes to the metal vibe of the guitar:
