Looking for a decent and easy to use recording device and these two came up.
Used ones are selling for 75-150$ Canadian I also see there are two models of each recorder H1n & H2n I believe the n is an upgraded model

I have an old H2, and have used it fairly thoroughly through the years. I used to tote it with me a lot. I liked the versatility it offered in a small package. It didn’t plow through batteries too badly either.
The mini condenser mic’s were a bit thin sounding(to me) sometimes, but they provided clear recordings. They did have a ceiling, when it came to sound pressure levels, that was reached occasionally at full tilt band rehearsals. Both issues could usually be rectified by changing placement in the room.
I haven’t used mine much since delving in to iOS recording, but it’s still around if I feel the need.
I’m betting the H2n would be pretty cool after having the H2.

Reports say the H2 better than H2n in quality ha ha

Not found one cheap enough yet

Good luck!
I highly recommend the accessory kit too, if you can find it. Particularly for the handy, screw in, mic body attachment.

Not a necessity, but makes it easy to position using a standard mic clip, and stand, boom, etc.
I have a little camera bag that I used to take on vacations with the H2, and accessories in tow.
Now I use my iPad or iPhone for that stuff, mostly, with external mic's. I can multitrack, and mix right there with that set up.
