Ziricote?

I must say that is one of the most stunning PRS guitars I have seen......truly to the point my mind was actually trying to justify 13k.....and almost did.

YOUr buying a work of art with that one---- not a guitar.
 
BUt for another grand you can get farted on Hollywood Bowl Telecasters..........just saying
 
Ziricote is a fruiting tree that grows in Mexico and central America. It's close relative, the Geiger tree has become a popular ornamental in Florida.

So Tom Anderson provided some more information on Ziricote. This is what he has to say...

"we've made a good amount of these now, and it does have a bit more upper mid presence than rosewood with maybe a fit firmer bottom. still a very pleasing wood, not leaning heavily towards what can be harsh about ebony. could be a good choice for someone looking to tighten up the looseness in the bass of rosewood, that some others may enjoy."
