Your favorite Drummers

I am just learning this. Guessing Rick Wright is an afterthought in Floyd too. Shewie.
I won't even mention Seamus or Waters.

Not at all, Rick Wrights sound was a huge part of the Floyd sound. And while I like Waters contribution to the band
I'm not a fan of his political stance and the fact he is still to this day whining about the band going on without him.

As for Sid, I continued to buy what little he put out post Floyd. They were a completely different band when he was a part of it.

I just don't pay too much attention to drummers...not diminishing their importance I just focus on guitar and vocals.

Mine in no order too.

HAHA, Somehow I knew I had to have put my friend as Numero Uno.
I got to talking to DonO about drums and ran across some vid clips of John smackin the skins.

Sysco, I have this on VHS

Thanks for posting these 2 Tommy vids. I've never seen an interview with this dude before. Seems to be in control with life as a baddass drummer. TA is like a passionate nerd in regards to his playing style, influences (John Bonham), and OCD levels of gear... with some sense of humor added. His drumming skillz and vibe is from another planet!

Mike Portnoy will be the greatest drummer of my life. Period.

As I have told my story a few times here, I saw Mike and DT free as I was waiting for my first kit to arrive at the store in 2000. I was in awe.
Another drummer I never heard of prior to seeing him once again at another free concert, was Todd Sucherman when he played a concert at Daytona Bike Week back around 2004 or 5.
