It's a 2019 Firebird I, Limited Edition Silver Mist from AMS/Zzounds. I've been drooling over these since they first got them in

Right out of the box its awesome. Super resonant and the neck is a touch thicker than most Firebirds I have played. Need to give it a set of 10's and tweak the setup but I can already tell I am going to love this guitar.

Got it because I have really been getting into my (other) Firebird lately. It's become my go-to in a lot of ways because its lighter than the LPs but has a bigger sound than the SGs. 'Birds are also maybe the most comfortable guitar to play IMO. For good measure here's a pic of that '16 Firebird with Creamtone plastics:

I almost picked up a bird last year, but bailed because someone had hacked a set of full sized buckers in to it:cry:
It played really nice, but I couldn’t look down at it...I think they used a grapefruit spoon to do it.

If you find the right deal on one you should get it. They aren't like any other guitar I've played really: they feel different, sound different, everything. And they are easily the most comfortable to play sitting down of anything I have tried, not that sit and play that much but when I do nothing beats the 'bird.
 
Those are both very nice. I tried the Firebird twice. Once with an Epiphone and the second time with a very nice Gibson. I found they
are not to my liking, but they were nice none the less...

"are you at Sp8ctres office --- ro is all of Californication coverd in this same carpet and rubber trim?" That does look very similar...
