I'm not sure if I posted this photo of my 60s Tribute on this thread, so forgive the duplication. I took this photo after I had installed the pickguard:
Of my three SGs, the Tribute has the most beautiful and pronounced bevel work.
I been forcing myself to play it more often. I been doing some tracking recently and been using the SG. It's a good player, just hard for me to bond wirh....
Sergio, Go for it. 1/2016 I was in the back of the local music store and saw the case and asked if I could check out the SG they asked how do you know it's an SG
My first good guitar was a 1961 Les Paul SG. It's an estate sale guitar I asked if I could play it sure I plugged it into a 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb I just finished servicing.
I'm like Oh my God this guitar just rings on every open note. I put a bid on it and won the bid. The fret's were trashed. I called the best guitar tech I know and the estimate
for repair was $2800.00 plus $550.00 shipping each way I thought I will just tool up and do it myself $3,000.00 and 8 hours a day for two months later it was finished.
The good news is I can re-fret any of my guitars now.
