Tone wood has more effect on acoustic guitars and less noticeable on solid bodied guitars. This thread is like flogging a dead horse if you ask me.

I agree-- slightly different but nothing that a little adjusting of the amp knobs or guitars tone knob would compensate for ..................

I have 10 guitars.
They all sound different from each other.
Why they sound different is of no consequence.
What is important is that they do sound different.
If they all sounded the same I would have only one of them.
